Through a Wire Fence

Shooting through a wire fence is one of the posts over at Digital Photography School today.

We had a couple of zoo visits last year, and fences being a major issue means that some of the photography is quite challenging.

I liked this one, though – and partly because it doesn’t really stick within the rules. I’d tried to make a bit of a feature of the fence instead of attempting to make it disappear completely.

Harvest Festival Display at Clumber Park

Another photograph for the 365 Project.

We had an amazingly hot day yesterday so took ourselves off to Clumber Park.  They have a little Chapel there, and a stunning harvest display.

Lots and Lots and Lots of Pine Cones

I’ve never seen fir cones / pine cones in such abundance before. Gorgeous.

Spring (8 of 365)

The ubiquitous blossom shot.

I’m not sure whether Spring’s still limping its way towards us or whether all that we’re having took place a week last Tuesday when I had a day off and stayed in to Bissell the living room carpet.

Either way, it’s still what we in these parts call a bit nippy.
