We had another of our visits to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park yesterday. There were new things to see, as usual, including this which was part of a knitted woodland by Donna Wilson.
We don’t really ‘do’ art. Neither of us really understands it properly, and yet we love the sculpture park as it all feels so accessible.
“I’m going to use this one for ‘Sleep’ on the 366, I think.”
“Oh. Why’s that?”
“Because I think it looks like it’s sleeping.”
“Oh.”
And that was our little artistic discussion.
I agree, definitely looks like he is sleeping to me too, very peacefully at that!
Enough said, works for me too.
That’s a cute woodland creature. Makes me wish I had some artistic talent!
My own view of Art is you don’t have to understand it…you either like it or you don’t…Good shot for the theme….but I don’t like the Art 😉
Looks like a sock puppet (and I can almost hear it snoring) 🙂
So cute! Love the crisp, brilliant colors and the imaginative take on the theme.
It does indeed look like it’s sleeping, great shot.
Thanks for linking up to #Project366
Very cute. Fab pic – the textures are so crisp. Cx
